The short story „Möhlau“ is part of a comic book on asylum politics in eastern Germany. The book “Et les deux jours” (working title) talks about both the living conditions of refugees and the quest for a speaker’s position a white artist. “Möhlau” refers to the death of Azad Hadji, a refugee who lived in Möhlau (camp) and died in July 2009. Hadji’s death has never been properly investigated. Paula Bulling is a comic artist living and working in Halle (Saale) and Berlin.
